Not sure why there wasn't already a thread about this, or if it is tucked away in some other comprehensive thread...
We start the season hosting Chicago on Wednesday, October 23rd.

Kemba's first game against us is on November 7th, in Charlotte, and is scheduled to be televised on TNT.

Looks tough, nice for tank. Also, nice for tank - 3 Atlanta games near end of season as opposed to start where we'd have better shot. We do get 2 Gsw games without Klay though - still probably won't win.

I'm shocked we got any games on TNT this year.

We're definitely winning less than 30 games.

You guys can thank Kemba for that

It's funny that Rozier is not featured.

I suppose, but they never bothered to schedule us when Kemba was out on the floor for Charlotte every night so it was still surprising.
Makes me wonder if there is language in the TV deal that requires every team to have a game on TNT at some point every other year. Unless Kemba drops 60 on us or something there isn't much intrigue surrounding the matchup, it's an early season game between a borderline conference contender and the potentially worst team in basketball.

That's not true. There was at least a few national TV games the past few season.
It's a "return game" that's why it's on TV. Then the Hornets will slip back into the black hole and the rest of american will forget about them until Bridges or a future draft pick becomes an all star.

The "woe is us" shtick is old now, its mid August. Time to put it behind us and look forward. Clearly rebuilding, and projected 39M in capspace after this season and 79M the following if we don't spend next offseason.
I for one am excited to get under 75 dollar courtside seats against the Wizards, Magic, or Suns again late in the season. Ultra cheap floor seats are the best. Its fun to watch the action up close.
