Cody Martin became something of a draft darling because of his playmaking ability at 6'5 but what people maybe don't realize is that Caleb, not Cody, was the 2018 Mountain West Player of the Year. Look at last year's G League thread, he was tearing it up, averaged 21 ppg for the season and 30 ppg in his final 3 Gboro appearances before trading places with Bacon in Charlotte. I like them both, Caleb shoots a bit better though. I agree it was a package deal at the draft and I hope we can resign both at a group rate discount, lol.

Caleb does have poor decision making and is a ball stopper. Still if he can be a knockdown shooter and has size to not be a huge minus on D then he's a homerun for an UDFA guy. He's older but is probably a rotation player if he can keep shooting 40%+ from 3. Not positive that trend will continue though.
