Steph out with a broken hand. Myles Turner out for a week or two. If were going to win a couple games now is the time

Most experts pegged us worst in the league. The players are most likely aware of it. I think the experts were wrong and I love to see us play like every game is winnable. There's immense talent in this league but also some arrogance and lack of heart. Teams will take us for granted and revert to hero ball when we pin them. We're far from worst in the league in my opinion. But I will take that rep. Every win becomes more satisfying. Every defeat, more shocking to opponents.

It will be interesting to see how GSW respond to losing Curry. I could see them getting fired up to prove they can still win without him, and I could also imagine them totally unraveling for an embarrassing loss.

I think the first quarter will be key, if the Hornets can get off to a fast start they dramatically increase their chances of sending the Warriors into 'woe is me' mode.

No Draymond so we are effectively playing deangelo Russell on a gleague team, very disappointing if we lose

Man I haven’t caught any of the games this year been up in NYC TCOB

miiiight be able to catch the final quarter tonight. Love seeing that the young dudes are playing and playing well. I don’t even care about our record as long as the young guys look good although it’s good to see Borrego getting this offense to click

Hornets are favored. FAVORED! IN Golden State. The Charlotte Hornets (media's pick for worst team of the year) are favored in Golden State against the Warriors. Inconceivable half a year ago.

If we lose this game, I'll feel pretty good at our odds of a top 5 pick this year.

Vegas knows which team has already quit and which one hasn't.

The Dubs can absolutely beat us if they aren't shell-shocked from losing Curry and Green, but Vegas seems to believe (and I agree) that it's more likely they give up on the entire season than fight back against the bad luck. They have a bad roster, but D-Lo should easily still be the most talented player on the floor tonight and we have plenty of G-Leaguers who wouldn't get run on any other team to give their motley crew an honest run at worst. The difference is mentality, and it's what I've been most proud of about our guys during the summer and in the early returns this year. They play hard, they support each other and they don't tuck their tail between their legs and limp off like they're supposed to.

That's the main reason one of my preseason predictions was that Charlotte would be better than at least two other teams. Our guys, from the young ones to the vets, from coaches to management, are going to actually give an honest effort every night the entire year. A lot of other teams that hit bad luck are going to be happy to fold it up asap because their roster is either composed of vets who see their future elsewhere or their management is more open to embracing a totally shameless tank.

When it rains, it pours. It's been a long road trip, but the team needs to concentrate.
