The Hornets have lost the first two games of this home stand. I do not know what to expect anymore, except for Rozier driving into cul-de-sacs as if he lost his GPS every game.

We needed to lose those games as they are lotto competitors as is the Wiz. Staying close and still losing is the right thing to do this year, sad but true.

Not sure how much it matters. Wouldn't surprise me at all for them to end the season with a lot of wins and end up picking around 9th. We'll have to get lucky in the lotto unless Mitch can convince MJ to trade guys like Marvin and Zeller so the tank can be forced.
The Charlotte Hornets will win their first round series against the Boston Celtics in the 2021 Playoffs

We're playing well above expectations and doing so without any injuries so far. I'm already terrified because of the increased load on all of our impact players - most of which didn't get nearly as much run last year.

I cannot figure out what the team is trying to do on offense. It looks so disorganized.

Only seven points this quarter, in seven minutes.

Coach Borrego should not leave Rozier out there without either Graham or Monk.

I get why no one seems to be watching, or posting. Neither one of these two teams plays smooth basketball.

I do not think I have ever seen an NBA player pick up a mop during a game before, or whatever that contraption was.

Great game. Bertans was insane, we're lucky he cooled off after awhile. With each passing game I wonder more and more if Graham might just be an all-star this season. He looked incredible yet again tonight.

Eric Collins quote of the game/night: "Hornets just can't stand prosperity."

That's been the story of this franchise so far.

The regular season is too long. I think more people will watch near the all star break for trades and tanking potential.

We played pretty well to end the game. Bertans was unconscious...extremely impressive.

Loving the clutch drives to the hoop from Devonte' late in this one. He's really becoming a dual offensive threat, both from deep and attacking the rim. Great to see.

Happy that Miles made the dagger. Hopefully that'll help build on his confidence.

Couldn’t see this one so thanks to all with observations to help the box score. Devonte is amazing. Love it when a player makes a huge leap in their second season. It shows how well they learned the game from their rookie experience, how hard they worked on their game in the offseason, and how good they may really be when putting it all together.

I really didn’t expect us to be 10-16 at this point. Almost a third of the way in and we’re playing our way out of a high lottery pick. That’s OK as long as we are developing our young players and trying to find a new home for Batum.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

This was definitely a game where fans caught a glimpse of what Devonté can be when he puts it all together. He willed his way into points on drives, threes and made plays when it counted. His head was really in this game even though he started cold. He took over in the second half.

What I love most about this year is our team plays modern. The core players can do the things NBA players are supposed to be able to do. They're playing competitive most games. They've had some close losses and very few where they feel like NBA talent is overwhelming.

They need to set a precedent and win some games. It's easy to build on wins. If we miss a high pick, our GM can still find an NBA starter.

Can we please trade for that Hans Klopek looking mother **** so that we don't have to see him light us up again when we play against him?

20/8/4 last time we played Washington.
32/9/1 this time.

Geezzzzzzzzzzz...............

I've been thinking the same thing.

I assume the wall is coming for Devonte, Miles and PJ - I just hope all 3 don't hit it at the same time.

That could be gross.

I don't think Miles can get worse

But I'm worried about PJ and Devonte. Both have had a couple of scares already this year. Not even January yet.
