Had a timeout, should've went a lot faster instead of Devonte taking 7 seconds to dribble the ball up. That was a terrible playcall, go with the odds. Quick 2 if 3 isn't there. We forced it.
The Charlotte Hornets will win their first round series against the Boston Celtics in the 2021 Playoffs

Never shoot a three when you are down by two with time expiring. It's a low percentage shot. Rozier should have hit Cody Zeller running in the lane.

Ran out of luck at the end, but man this team has no quit in it.

Graham now shooting under 40% for the year. Last 4 games have been horrifically bad shooting the ball

Even the JV coach running the cavs knows to blitz him high and laugh as everyone else goes braindead waiting for offense to happen. that's the crazy thing - devonte's assist numbers are still above average. he's still playing well even with the adjustments. its just that team isn't adapting with him. he'll take shots just to get them up because no one else is willing to gun/initiate outside of Terry (and terry isn't looking for anyone else while he's doing it)
we win this game easily if guys could penetrate and get to the line... wouldn't be anywhere near a 20 pt hole or need a late miracle at all

On the plus side, two Hornets had career highs for points on back-to-back nights: Malik Monk (23) and Terry Rozier (35).
Devonté Graham had a career high one week ago (40).

The Cavs announcing crew are insufferable. They are right up there with my all time least favorite announcing crews to have to endure (along with that old Boston crew and the Chicago crew making up the top 3).
I forgot that Jon Henson is even in the NBA anymore. Where has he been hiding?
This was my 1st time seeing that Garland kid. Came away not very impressed (unless Monk was "guarding" him - then he looked ok).
Bridges back to those ridiculous spinning, out of control, looping hook, off balance layup things. Just dunk the ball dude. Leave the ballet stuff at the door.
CZ made a living this game just camping out outside of the key under the rim and allowing the guards to find him on drop off passes.
Why would we trade for Love? Is he really THAT much better than Marv?
Not a W in the win column, but a moral victory perhaps?

that's what I was saying last year, his game has regressed into a super rebounding Marv. not worth the money

Love passes better than Marv too, but his contract is now way out of whack with his production.
My picks:
2020 Draft (3rd pick) - Tyrese Haliburton, Devin Vassell, or Onyeka Okongwu
2021 Draft (11th pick) - Moses Moody
