Will the Charlotte Hornets retire #12 for Dwight? He averaged a double double and posted a 30/30 game which is huge in it's own right.

No, they won't. Most teams aren't going to retire a player's number after just 1 season unless they did something like Kawhi did and lead that team to a Championship.

They may retire it just because they don't want to bring shame to any other player like that for having to wear that number.

no but the Heat might since they already retire jerseys for players who never even played for them
