He would have been traded if the NBA didn’t take the All-Star game from us the way they did. Compounded on top of that, the NBA had agreed to move the trade deadline to BEFORE the All-Star game when it had always been after it. It was the perfect storm to **** us over. MJ wanted representation at it more than anything so we didn’t look like a bum host city. Then to add insult to injury, Kemba became eligible for the supermax (and he’s absolutely not a supermax player).

All that said, I don’t think Kemba really did anything to screw us. If you want to be mad at anybody be mad at the NBA as a whole for how events played out that forced us in to the position we were in.

And to vote on what the thread is for: absolutely not. I couldn’t care less if he does or doesn’t win. I’ll be happy for him but I’m not a Celtics fan. Never liked them, never will.

I don’t think the Celtics have a good shot at winning the title but I’ll be rooting for them. While we’re rebuilding the Celtics are my bandwagon team right now.

Never been a big fan of the Celtics before but Kemba is probably my favorite player in the NBA.
