Re: 2020 Orlando Basketball Stuff
Kemba had a terrible shooting game in the first three quarters, but had a clutch 4th quarter and hit a late go ahead bucket that was reminiscent of his game winner against Pittsburg in the Big East tournament where he dropped the defender on a step back.

Playoffs game 7 game winner is a Center hitting the game winner in the paint. Centers are supposed to be obsolete don’t you know?

The top traditional center (defends in the paint, protects the rim, scores in the paint) was bounced in the first round in this series. Gobert.
Jokic runs offense and shoots threes on top of traditional duties. He's not at all the type of center becoming less critical to deep advancement.
Neither is Bam. He's a triple double machine who creates for others and can space the floor in addition to rebounding and defending opposing centers.
Gobert is a more dominant traditional center than Wiseman can ever dream of being. Pass on Wiseman. Pass pass pass!
It has been written...

Picked #41 when no one had a clue. Just like when they all thought Bam was just another rim-protecting big. Shows you don't pass on potential especially when it comes with size. Snyder is probably working on turning Gobert into a playmaker this off-season.

From what I saw Gobert kept the Jazz in the game, several times, with some timely baskets.
There were several alley oops and under the basket makes and also defensive stops at the other end that, without him, might have seen the Jazz down by double digits.

his second half was incredible. I wish they would allow Ingles to play more pick n roll with him.

The thing that's standing out to me about the games I'm watching is the defense. The Bucks / Heat games are amazing.
My picks:
2020 Draft (3rd pick) - Tyrese Haliburton, Devin Vassell, or Onyeka Okongwu
2021 Draft (11th pick) - Moses Moody

The defensive effort by both teams in the Bucks/Raptors game was intense as hell.

Kemba just made the greatest play of his career and it was an assist
.... but somehow Toronto just had a catch and shoot 3 to win on 0.5 seconds, clock operator definitely helped out there.

Bucks stay alive without Giannis. The 20-year-old assassin Herro didn't make it easy.

maybe it's just that life is boring and/or **** right now and everything fun looks way better in comparison, but these bubble playoffs have been my absolute favorite playoffs ever. So many riveting games

Any word on when our guys can have their "summer league" in the bubble?

Lebron put on a hell of a show. 29 points in the first half. 4 blocks in the 3rd quarter. Dude is unbelievable.
