This guy has the moves to get his shot in the NBA. Will be efficient or a chucker? I don't know, but this team definitely needs a guy who can put the ball on the floor and get open shots. Watch his highlights, reminds me of Bradley Beal.

I was watching a scouting report that compared him to Harden - because of his step back J and also his change of direction when driving.
My fear is that he can have all the tools in the world but if he’s not smart enough to use them...

Dude is immensely talented. He desperately needs someone to reel in his shot selection

This is my #2 choice
I think Minnesota takes him though

They have Russell and Beasley already, they also just picked another two guard sized player at 6 in last year's draft. They are drafting LaMello 100%, which means one of Wiseman or Edwards will be there for us.

1. "Player development." James and Mitch have done a decent job here so far. See: Tae, Monk, all the guys we took in the 2nd.
2. Picking #3 in a draft with no guaranteed stars. Time to draft potential. Swing for the fences.
= Anthony Edwards.

It's also important to consider that the Wolves are for sale, which means they want to have max marketability. Lamello Ball is the most marketable player in this draft.
If the Warriors take Wiseman for themselves or another team Edwards will fall to us.

If they're going for the best upside they pick Ball

I read through the Wiseman thread like three times because I thought thats who his guy would be and still somehow missed it.

The problem with the warriors is that they might (will?) use this pick to move from Wiggins + asset (matching Curry/Klay timeline). But that would be the best scenario obviously.

I would probably take him first if I was the Hornets but who knows how the top 2 play out this year

I could see scenarios where any of the three guys are there at 3 for us.

Undereducated gut feeling is that he would be the best long term fit for the Hornets. They really need a big time guy who can get his own shot. I think that Edwards is that guy long term. Fit with Devonte' & PJ is good too.
The T-Wolves could draft him if they don't take Melo.

This feels like the guy that I'm not going to research because I don't think he'll be there and then he is and I don't know how I feel about taking him. If only there was some way to prevent that.

It could be that he was just poorly coached at Georgia. I'm starting to warm up to just taking him and hope for the best. Maybe he's coachable and relentless worker ala Jimmy Butler. Sucks that all three have really glaring flaws.
