I am glad to have been wrong to be dubious. Congrats to him, Kupchak and the coaching staff for his speedy development.

Incredible year. Looking forward to seeing his body fill out and him become a more consistent shooter. Sky is the limit for the young man

Awesome. I wasn't feeling that he would get it, so this is unexpected. He has a high, high ceiling with his IQ and vision. Study Chris Paul
I don't support domestic violence. Thanks Miles

Interesting that LaMelo signs using “#1” in his signature and not “#2”.

Surely he’s going to be wearing the #1 next season - right?

Congratulations Melo. I'm very happy you're a hornet!

Miles seems like such a cool guy too in that video where he gives Melo the award.

After reading that article I'm sold on Miles Bridges. He's becoming a hell of a leader, I can't wait to see what he and LaMelo will do next season.

I hope he becomes Charlotte Hornet-for-life.

You care to quote some stuff from the article when you get a chance? Not a subscriber :(

“With a healthy Melo, there are not too many teams that we can’t beat.” said Bridges, a constant target for Ball’s look-ahead passes.

“We have to make the playoffs next year,” Bridges added. “If we don’t make the playoffs, then it’s just a waste of a season.”

Reading that after watching that wholesome video of Miles surprising LaMelo with the RoY trophy was a pretty good one-two punch.

So happy they finally announced this and he won. Well deserved. The wolves people are so salty over it too which cracks me up. People become so fixated on scoring and overlook impact and every other meaningful stat. If the draft was redone, I’m confident minn would take LaMelo.

Unless they wanted to double down on the stupidity, like they did in the 2009 draft

LaMelo can't get his wrist right in that number 2. Hornets better hurry up and make it happen.

Is that when they took Jonny Flynn and Rubio while giving a hard pass on Steph Curry? Two shots at a PG and they still got it wrong.
