Agreed, however there is a chance LaMelo is still growing. Imagine the insanity if he hits 6'9" or 6'10"

LaMelo is a beast. I love him more everyday. He won't talk junk yet will still inspire haters. His silent confidence and cool disposition is something I didn't expect. A 6' 8" PG with long arms who can jump and see the whole court. My goodness.

Hoop junkies, here are highlights of Lamelo playing at Rico Hines workouts about a year ago I believe before he went to Australia. Playing against a lot of NBA players and top talent from overseas and a few top prospects like Josh Christopher and KJ Martin.

One thing I noticed is he one of few guys willing to pass and not just to look score the whole time.

Lamelo just turned 19 3 months ago. If he gets any taller, gonna have to call him LaFreak.

What is everyone expecting from Lamelo Stat wise this year? Starts? MPG? PPG? RPG? APG? Shooting Percentages etc....

it depends a lot on whether Rozier is still here, so i'm gonna hold off till we know what the team looks like.

If we're trying to compete for a playoff spot, Rozier is still here, and Ball doesn't look all that great as a rookie (bad shooting, worse shot selection, bad defense- all very realistic issues with him), expect his minutes and numbers to tank.

It kinda depends on how the roster looks come opening night, but I'll take a stab:

20mpg
8ppg
4prg
5apg

33/25/72

The stats/usage/opportunities could increase if Terry is not on the roster though.

He's definitely benched by midseason with those %s unless he's a legit elite playmaker

LaMelo probably isn't going to start next year. He's only 19 and he will have had no summer league and an abbreviated training camp.
