Much less skilled offensively, worse passer, shooter, etc. Likely better rim protector but worse rebounder. Wiseman is a little bit longer. Similar athletes.

Ayton as a prospect goes number 1 no question in this draft.

EYBL Stats:

Ayton - 19.8, 11.6, 1.7

Wiseman 15, 6.4, 1.8

TBH I haven't watched a lot of Suns games of late. How does Ayton get most of his points?

Ayton probably better at this point, but I believe Wiseman will be better in 2-3 years. I compared Wiseman to David Robinson the other day, sayi g that I would never say he would be as good, but playing styles, athleticism, and overall game were similar. Some people here didn't like that comparison.....lol. However, I just saw a quote from Wisemans college coach Penny Hardaway where Penny said he had a lot of David Robinson mixed with some Chris Bosh in him. If we draft him we can only hope he ever reaches that kind of potential.

Here's his shot chart last year:

He scores largely around the basket but about 30% of his attempts came from 10 ft to 3pt range. Hasn't extended his range to 3 yet but I'm sure that's the next step. They post him up a bit too, couldn't find stats on that.

Didn't watch a ton of Suns last year, but I was impressed by him last year. I was lower on him in 2018. Thought Luka, JJJ, and Trae were clearly best prospects. Ayton might end up being better than 2 of those three.

Ayton is a really good prospect and will probably make at least 1 all-star team in his career. Not sure he is going to ever dominate, but I like Phoenix top three of Booker, CP3 and him to make the playoffs this year.

Biggest thing with the whole situation is that both Young and Luka went after him, so I think he will always be behind those guys when it comes to best player from Draft class.

Hey Hornets fans. Lot of chatter on the Wolves board that either your or Chicago will be trading up to #1. Do you think it will happen and do you think it's worth it for Wiseman?

I'm betting that #1 is being traded to a team that will take Wiseman. Whether that be you, Warriors or Bulls.

that's entirely fine when the top 3 guys haven't separated themselves from each other at all and we have a need at each position as well

why give away assets for a lateral choice?

Wiseman is the best choice. Not a lateral choice. My hope is that we draft him and keep him.

I don't think we do it, but it wouldn't surprise me. I do think there is more of a lateral choice between the consensus top 3, so I don't expect huge value to be exchanged if we do move up.

Bridges and 32 is what's rumored so not huge at all. As a Wolves fan I can dream of Washington or your next years top 5 protected #1 going unprotected in 22 of not conveyed in 21. :D

I think that it's FAR more likely that Chicago is trading up for LaMelo than it would be Charlotte trading up for Wiseman. But who knows? We'll find out soon.
My picks:
2020 Draft (3rd pick) - Tyrese Haliburton, Devin Vassell, or Onyeka Okongwu
2021 Draft (11th pick) - Moses Moody

Bridges and a high second rounder is not huge at all? Cmon dude.

It would certainly be ironic if the Hornets traded up and picked someone other than Wiseman. lol.

Our perspective is that Bridges has been a disappointment, but since we don't have a single legit SF on our team we would take him. 2nd round picks you can buy for cash. So no. Not even in the realm or large.
