It's worth repeating that - should they want him - the Hornets can offer Harrell up to $82M over 4 years without needing to trade anything (which is like double what he's expected to make).

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the S&T aspect would be to allow Clips to take Rozier back. They don't have any matching contracts unless they plan to swap Bev + 2nds for Rozier.

It would only make sense to do S&T with Harrell if we wanted to Rozier at the same time.

Personally, doesn't make a ton of sense to me. I think Rozier stays.

Right, it's completely to the Clippers' benefit. It only makes sense for the Hornets if (A) they just view Rozier as having negative value - he doesn't - or (B) they send other assets over - they don't have many.

We're stealing value from both teams here. Turner and Lou are the best players in this deal.

Apparently Hayward is trying to go to Indiana and it will have to be a sign and trade. I'm guessing they just do a Turner/Hayward swap, which works for both teams.

If Boston doesn't want Turner we could possibly get in on a 3-way deal and send Boston Rozier (assuming they want another guard) and we get Turner, but that doesn't seem too likely tbh.

Edit: Just saw this. First part seems like a solid deal for Boston to avoid losing Hayward for nothing. Ainge is out of his mind if he thinks they're giving up Warren or Oladipo. That would make the move completely lateral for Indiana.

I hate that the Celtics are getting Myles Turner. I know they will and I just hate it.

I still want to get Harrell. Forget sign-and-trade. Just sign him.

Looks like Harrel took less money to sign with LA. I wonder how much more the Hornets offered(Source: Brad Turner Twitter.)

Rozier of Julius Randle.

Hornets have 3 point guards so somethings got to give. Not much happening underneath the basket unless PJ really picks things up. Randle would be a nice fit straight up for Rozier. It evens things out a bit. Randle has issues but he can rebound and score. Plus he's still young.

Not a fan of Randle at all. Would rather give every single available min to Vernon than ever have Randle see the court for us.

Randle is a black hole of prime Z-Bo proportion and is the epitome of empty stats to me.

I didn't think Rozier's defence was that bad.

Rozier has more value than Randle. Period.

Not sure what to make of this. Clippers don't have a lot of salaries that would match, so possibly a third team.

Only trade I'd consider would be Patrick Beverley + Mfiondu Kabengele for Rozier.

I don't hate it..
