Preseason Game #3: Hornets @ Magic

We've got to be due for a single game explosion from someone - right?

Melo?

I feel like someone is putting up some big numbers in this game.

I think the minutes are too slim for anyone to go nuclear in the preseason, or at least they have been these first two games. Nobody played more than 24 minutes against Toronto. Gordo and Rozier both had a good shot at 30+ last game if they played normal minutes.

Aside from the obvious reason of giving G-leaguers most of the 4th quarter to evaluate them I think JB's probably smart to limit minutes at this point. The scheduling this year is so insane it might not even be a bad idea to reduce minutes even when it counts. I'm afraid we're going to see a lot of injuries this season due to three games in five nights five games in a week etc., it's just more than the human body can handle playing the modern style.

Rozier is on fire right now, he's had a couple nice offensive spurts this preseason. I hope we see that same microwave when it counts, his shot looks like it's going to carry over from last year.

Some said that Killian Hayes was the best prospect at running the P&R. I haven't seen much of him, but how can he be better at running it than Melo?

Melo is a freaking God at running the P&R.
