It was just a matter of time before our games were impacted.

No surprise. Plus, a whole six days off for a very young squad.

Because it’s not our roster that’s effected, I assume our guys can still get together and practice etc?

If so, that would be hugely advantageous for us. Teams don’t usually practice much during the season as is, and with this condensed season even less.

Getting the opportunity to go through unexpected organised reps could really help our guys.

It's a bummer that our game got canceled, I always look forward to them and this week was light on that front to begin with. I was already bracing for it since the Wizards are apparently the Typhoid Mary of Covid.

It's the right thing to do. I'd rather the league be extra careful when it comes to dealing with the infection risk.

Seriously, this is great. None of our guys have covid, but we just get a free week to just practice. Probably helps LaMelo the most and maybe Monk (hopefully).

Gives us a little more time to get Zeller back.

It will be 4 weeks since he got hurt tomorrow. The original injury timeline was 4-6 weeks, so hopefully he will be back in the next week or so.

I imagine they'll move this game to the second half of the schedule. Washington and Memphis will have a ton of games to make up

Gotta win this type of game if the team wants to be a serious playoff contender.

Currently PJ is being listed as questionable for this game and Tae has already been ruled out.

Who will start? I assume we will see Ball in place of Graham, plus Zeller, Hayward, Rozier, and possibly Malik Monk.

These 1:00 games often see the guys sleepwalking through the first two quarters.

Not sure if he’s starting.

Starting line up official:

LaMelo - Terry - Gordo - PJ - Cody

Very interested to see how LaMelo goes being the pure lead guard and having a great catch and shoot guy like Terry playing off him.

Cody isn’t an ideal 5 for LaMelo, because he doesn’t need screens set for him and Cody often takes up space where Melo works best, but Cody does run the court well and could benefit from that.

All that said, it’ll be a great look at what LaMelo is like running the show.

This next stretch of games is huge for us. A bunch are winnable but these are the kind of situations where we usually **** the bed.

We need to stop Westbrook and Beal from dropping 80 on us.
