I can't believe LaMelo shows signs of being able to take over games for stretches as a rookie. Just an incredibly fun player to watch, and him + the rest of this roster have quickly become a team I have to tune in to watch most nights. Wish my Warriors had taken him.

I have noticed that a lot of times, Hayward and Rozier drive to the lane and are so intent on scoring, they do not look back to see Monk right where he is supposed to be, wide open. He's not having a great game, but I would not go so far as to say he has "not contributed."

Ball, on the other hand, is having a brilliant game.

How is that a foul on Terry? Didn't he just cleverly pull the chair?

Damn, that was brutal. An almost steal at the top that would have lead to a 2 on 1 break ended up with a Mitchell 3.

Ouch.

Melo's understanding of space and distance when he drives is elite.

"Mike Conley will not return to the game" -then she mentions whatever injury it was.

Eric Collins- "Fantastic. I mean great reporting"

LOL

look you got it, a little while ago BigSlam was a white basketball hustler who banked on black players underestimating his skills on the court. When he pulls one over on Monk, Monk saw a lucrative opportunity, and they become partners in the con game, plying their trade across the courts of Los Angeles. They were very succesful but it turned sour when Monk called out BigSlam for ironically not being able to finish plays with a dunk. BigSlam was sensitive with his jumping issues and bet his whole win share that he could dunk it. Slam failed and Monk walked away with the whole lot. Slam had to return home to his hot latino missus, who couldn't forgive this latest screw up and left him.

Slam has never forgiven Monk as a result.

That's his personal problem.

There was no "vista", there was no "view", and there certainly wasn't no vista of no view.

leading the team in playing time tonight as well.

Tae going down might have something to do with that, but still, it's a good sign of lots more mins to come for Melo.
