GT: Game #67 - Charlotte Vs Orlando (May 7th)

Post#1 » by BigSlam » Fri May 7, 2021 12:58 pm

After last nights stinker I'm not very confident about tonight's game.

Oh, and I look forward to Bamba ripping us a new one. He's putting up 15/11/1/ in May with a steal and 2 blocks on 50% shooting from the floor....

I think they'll win, but after last nights loss there isn't really anything for me to get excited about this season beyond the entertainment value of watching the team play because the 6th seed pipe dream is pretty much completely dead. The only way I can see them having a competitive playoff series now is if Harden or Embiid get injured.

ESPN has Devonte listed as OUT.

The number of injuries we've had to deal with have been absurd...and how has Tae seemingly gotten worse? So lame...

Need this one tonight.

In February I would have felt confident about this game. Not tonight. The Hornets need to swarm on defense if they want a win.

Surely the Dwayne Bacon led Magic won’t beat us. Surely we will get back on track and preserve the 8th seed.

I guess if you pause and think, could we have been 3-4 games better if we didn’t lose so much production for so much of the season. I think the answer is yes. I think we would’ve been competing for that #4 right had we had our guys. That makes me feel like we are on the right path. Just need a damn center now.

Forgot that Gary Harris now plays for the Magic.

Really looking forward to watching Bamba to see how good he is.

Did the team bump some lines in the locker room before the game?

Looking wayyyyyyyyyyyyy more lively than they did all of last night already.

And is now just letting it hang.

Doesn't look good.

LaMelo needs to get his shot back. He’s cold as ice last game and so far tonight.

Just shut LaMelo down. This season is a lost cause.

Monk should be first off the bench, if not starting.

My humble opinion.

It looked like JB was talking to him about the wrist before when he took him out. He’s still on the bench it seems. I mean he had pins in there only a matter of weeks ago…
