Outside of having a poor wingspan, think Kispert had an impressive combine.

6-7, low body fat, big hands and athletically he was better than expected with a 37 inch vertical.

Not in love with him at 11, but I think he is Doug McDermott 2.0 if I ever have seen it.

Loved him until the combine. Still wouldn't be mad if we took him, but I just like the other prospects more at 11.
I don't support domestic violence. Thanks Miles

I actually think Kispert is a lottery talent but I think I’m near the point where I think our pick has to be an above average defender and he’s not it lol. I think he’s going to be a good offensive player though

I like Kispert, but, he strikes me as a career bench scorer. Best case 6th man, worst case a situational shooter. Just doesn’t have the athleticism to defend in this league. Doesn’t mean he couldn’t be our pick or valuable. We need a deadeye shooter/scorer.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

If we were picking 14-18th I think he would be a great target. I think at 11, I am still looking for a guy that can be a starter somewhere down the line and I don't think Kispert really fits that role.

Feels like a big time MEH. Not really where we should go with our 11th pick.

i might be insane but this pick wouldnt bother me that much, assuming we got Myles Turner or something. guy like this is a much better fit around LaMelo and Miles than signing Monk long term would be
plug n play catch and shoot snipers smoke us all year every year, we should know their value more than anyone

I am pretty hesitant on this guy. I think he is an NBA player, but it seems to me his ceiling is pretty low. If he was our best option at 11, hope we trade out.

Guys who can shoot will always find a way to get on the floor. But, he is not likely to have the high upside. I think Mitch has done a good job talent evaluating the draft and would not take a 20 min a game player over a potential starter unless there isn't one available.

I think you're trying to find someone better than a ceiling of JJ Redick or Kyle Korver at pick 11 in the draft.

I'd actually be pretty happy if we ended up drafting JJ Redick or Korver.

Yes but that is best case scenario. No guarantee he turns out to be that good. I'm an optimist possibly but I'm more hoping we can draft someone who can become an elite player. Solid contributor at worst.

How is Kispert's positional versatility? Looks like he's primarily a SF, can he play some SG or PF? Like if we lose Monk, could he be the backup SG or if Terry misses some time could he start at SG? He doesn't have to be great a defending opposing guards, but is he going to embarrass himself trying to stay in front of them?

One thing I like about Moody is that he could be a full time SG or SF and once he adds some weight could easily slide between 2-4. That type of flexibility is nice when building this roster.

I like Kispert hoping he’s the next Joe Harris
But I wonder does rumor Arnoldas Kubolka coming over negate our need to draft Kispert-type

Is Kispert as athletic as someone like Joe Harris though?

I appreciate they are both touted as good 3pt shooters, but Harris was also really known for his athleticism going into his draft.

Joe Harris was the 33rd pick. Kispert is bigger and a better athlete than Harris.

I am telling you him and Dougie are very similar in size and shooting touch. Really solid cutters, solid rebounders and high IQ players that will do the little things.

McDermott went 11th in 2014. Out of first 14 picks taken he probably goes 7th or 8th in a redraft

If Kispert is more Dougie than Harris then I’d rather just play Kubolka if he’s coming over.
