We probably had to offer more money than the other teams per usual, but glad to have him.

Love that title! So good to have a quality wing in the rotation. I’d think we also keep #1 twin for his versatility/plug and play unless Gelo is considered more important.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

I didn't realize this but Oubre has a 7'3 wingspan?? I figured it was around 7' but 7'3 is a crazy wingspan for a 6'7 wing

Oubre will probably help us a lot more than we realize at the moment.

I am interested to see Oubre's fit. In GS Oubre stated he wants to start. Surely he won't start ahead of Rozier or Hayward. what about Miles? I mean after Miles' breakout year surely they start him ahead of Oubre? And I thought Bouknight was chosen to be the backup SG and would see decent minutes behind Rozier but now I wonder if Oubre will backup Rozier, relegating Bouknight to third string? Or is Oubre only the backup SF behind Hayward, with Miles playing only PF? Oubre can soak up minutes vacated by Monk and Graham, and while I am more of a Cody Martin fan than most around here, Oubre no doubt will usurp his pt. Sometimes I find myself wondering if the team signed Oubre not because they needed him but just because they could, but then I remind myself he *should* be an upgrade over Monk and Graham

Oubre will was a really good signing. He will impact games when hayward his injured or on a minuets restriction. He can guard multiple positions and is a really good athlete. He's like 25. Him and miles will look nice running alongside eachother with Melo.

We need a bitch player that starts fights and gets aggressive with everyone. I know Oubre hasn't been that player but I'm hoping that he can be that player. Everyone on our team is too nice. Throw some punches Kelly.
I don't support domestic violence. Thanks Miles

This is my favorite hornets free agency signing In years. I wanted to get him last year and we got him this year. He adds versatility and defense with a higher upside if scoring than he has shown thus far. He is 25. Remember when we were all wrong on Terry? Oubre fits the mold of this team. Him and bouknight will absorb all the minutes form monk,Graham, Martin. Oubre will definitely be important if and when hayward gets injured. All around this is a great signing.

We needed a long wing defender that could run the floor and be respectable from the 3 point line. Oubre was the best player on the market that checked all of those boxes. He fits like a glove, if he fails it's all on him.

I'm hyped that we got Oubre. He adds really really solid depth, and he's only 25...I mean he has all the tools to be a 20ppg guy and a very good defender. Our squad is a good situation for him IMO.

Calm before the storm fellas...every day is one day closer to October 20th

Oubre gives us a 5th wing. I wonder if we'll ever see this lineup:

LaMelo/Hayward/Oubre/Bridges/Washington?

That would be a nice lineup. But I would rather bring Emeka Okafor out of retirement than to start a no effort player like Washington...maybe he gets it together, but based upon last year, he has a place on the Batum train.
