Just noticed DraftKings Sportsbook has some odds out for the Hornets

Over/under win total: 38.5
To make the playoffs +175
To miss the playoffs -215
Bouknight ROY +2800
Borrego COY +1900

I'm calling us a 50 win team if Melo and to a lesser extent Hayward/Miles/Rozier play most of the season.

If we get bitten hard by the injury bug it could be low 30's.

I think we can win 47-52 games this season if our main players can give us at least 60-65 games.

41-41 baybeeee.

I think there's almost no way we're not a play-in team.

Depends on LaMelo's leap and Gordon's health honestly. Just be happy we have a young superstar potential player. The Knicks and Bulls went all in without one.

The Bulls are going to be extremely tough this season.

LaVine is pretty close to a superstar. He is like Devin Booker before the Suns got CP3.

I think we'll win anywhere between 35-45 games. The East is pretty solid, especially in our range. The only definite bad teams are Detroit and Orlando.

I still remember when the idea of trading for lavine was criticised heavily here, he’s done well to turn his career around like he has.

Should definitely be either Iwundu or Richards. I'd probably drop Richards first just because I've seen him flounder during Summer League and Iwundu is (to me at least) a mystery box. I won't question Mitch either way unless he cuts McDaniels.

Richards should be the one cut. McDaniels shouldn’t even be discussed.

cut Iwundu, Richards, Martin in that order. Perfectly fine if none of them make the roster

So DeAndre Jordan the latest vet to pile onto the Lakers train for a cheap salary. How many exemptions can a team get for adding players when you’re already a gazillion over the cap?

I get it…climb on the bus to get a ring…be part of Bron’s late push for one more championship. I’ll be glad when that show closes. It was refreshing to have such a varied group of team vying for a title last year. Hoping our Hornets return to the playoffs (not the play in) but not convinced we did enough. We certainly got better with adding Plumb and Oubre, plus our rooks. Need everyone to step UP right out of the gate for a strong start.
