I'm happy for Beal. I like that he didn't defect to a bigger team or look to jump ship and form a big 2 or 3 somewhere else. I respect his commitment to the team that drafted him.

What happened to Rui? Has he even played this season?

Winnable game, but we better do right like we did with the Warriors. No bs on defense.

Side note: It’s nice having a fairly organic “Big 4” and being in a position where we can gradually build our draft picks with confidence, adjusting to speed, etc.

nope, he's been out "for personal reasons" since before training camp

Wiz fan here. Rui suffered from mental issues this off season. Seems to have went through a depression and stayed in Japan all Preseason. The team is just bringing him along slowly.

As for our record, it is truly legit and I am not just saying that because it's my team. Every Wiz fan will tell you that this team plays different. Unseld Jr. is 10x better than our previous coaches. We have a top 10 offense and defense. The offense is truly based on sharing the ball and the defense is on a string. We are deep at every position and you pretty much don't feel like anyone on the floor is a bad player.

We are doing this without Rui and Bryant all season, Bertans missing most of the games, Dinwiddie not playing b2bs and Beal has misses 3 or 4 games including the last 2 after his grandmothers death. He should be back for this game.

All the new guys from the Lakers and Dinwiddie have been great. Trez is our All Star so far. He's been a monster off the bench and we have no drop off when we go to the 2nd unit. Deni has become a lock down defender. Most Wiz fans are excited because we feel we have another level we can go to because Brad hasn't found his rhythm yet all preseason or regular season. Maybe it had to do with his grandmother, playing with a whole new lineup, or just bad timing but I think that he will start cooking soon and we will really take off. He really trust his teammates now though so he has no problems passing and is playing much better defense. It should be a great game

This is actually a very intriguing match up all the way around. Hopefully we don't get down by 20 5 minutes into the game.

We seem to play much better at home, it will be interesting to see if we can beat the top team in the east. What an amazing trade by them

I think we can beat these guys but who knows, they are greatly exceeding expectations so far. This series is important to both our teams playoff hopes so getting a win tonight would be great.
