Do we get anyone back? PJ? Nicky? McD?

Doncic is going to miss their game today, right? Is he a chance to sit this one out as well?

I could see Porzingis giving us a hard time with his length. Could be a good match up for Oubre and Thor?

Definitely looks like Luka is out. Now just have Mavs ay without 6 more players and we have a fair game.

When do we get the Covid 5 back?

Funny, CBS actually put together a tracker: https://www.cbssports.com/nba/news/nba-covid-19-health-and-safety-protocols-tracker-zach-lavine-added-to-list-as-bulls-number-rises-to-nine/

Looks like the bulk of our guys are slotted to return on the 15th.

I read on some NBA injury report that earliest any of the 5 can be back is 12/15. Not sure if that means we will have them for the game on the 15th though. I believe covid protocols call for no physical activity while being in quarantine, so I’m sure these guys will need a few days at least to get their legs under them. Or at least limited minutes if on the 15th. Hard to imagine they play that day though.

Nice. We really needed one of Rozier/Ball, I feel comfortable about the rest of our team. If we can win that would be huge to go 3-2 missing all these guys, gets them a little in season rest too (I don't think any of them actually had Covid, right? that would be reported)

Kinda wanted a ton of minutes for Bouknight again, curious how having Rozier back still affect his minutes

I mean I'd also like a W so there's that

Gotta imagine he still gets a shot and gets good minutes if he plays well in the 1st half. Although not sure Borrego would give both Thor and Bouk minutes? Interesting to see what happens.

I think Bouk definitely gets some spot minutes after dropping 24, but probably not big minutes. If I had to hazard a guess at the rotation:

Rozier (36)/Bouk (12, Hayward on the court for all those minutes)
Oubre (36)/Martin(12)
Hayward (36)/Martin (12)
Miles (36)/Thor (12)
Richards (12)/Kai (12)/Carey (12)/Thor (12)

(i have no idea what is actually going to happen here at C, I'll guess that Richards plays ok but gets in a lot of foul trouble, Carey comes in and stinks it up defensively, and then Kai gives us erratic but decent minutes, and we settle on just playing Thor at C down the stretch

No mention on Nick Richards...? Wasn't he out for the same non-COVID illness as PJ? Weird...

Agree with a good chunk of this, but I wouldn’t be surprised to see Tro get less minutes because of the 8 day layoff with no physical activity, so I bet it’s closer to 25-28 minutes for him. Also I don’t see Kai playing 12 minutes, considering he only got 6 minutes against the Kings when we even more short handed. Also, PJ could be back.

I must admit it's a game we need to win with what's coming up especially without Luka possibly not playing. I'd like to be greedy and win the next 3 they are winnable games then after that it's gets hard

Plumdog and McD have been cleared but are still out tonight as they did not travel with the team
No word on PJ Washington, and looks like nothing came out of Miles' tweet hopefully
Wonder what the hold up on Ball is? Maybe he caught the rona?

I thought the same thing - until I read they have 10 players out and would not have been able to roster the min of 8 required players.

We thought 5 out was bad, but 10??

Yeah lol. It annoyed me when I randomly caught the highlights on SportsCenter and they said we were missing 5, not 7, guys.

I kinda hope Bouk gets big minutes again because it can really help his trade value in case a team like Indiana is "we love Bouknight so much add him to Hayward for Sabonis and its a deal"
