GT: Charlotte @ Indiana - Dec 29th 7:00pm

Post#1 » by BigSlam » Tue Dec 28, 2021 6:02 pm

With no Miles and PJ, this is going to be a tough one - even though the Pacers are slumping.

Sabonis and Turner will be a lot for our front court to handle.

Will need another monster game from Plumdog and solid contribution from Nicky.

I propose a rule: if either Sabonis or Turner scores at least 2 points tomorrow, they have to put on a Hornets jersey for the rest of the season

Sabonis and Lamb to Charlotte
Hayward and Bouk to Philly
Simmons to Indiana

Still think that trade makes the most sense for everyone, Sabonis is like a taller Hayward that doesn't shoot threes but rebounds and passes at an elite level from the 5 spot

Indiana has a lot of good individual talent, they are just awful together

You can tell Rick really hates this team

Nick has to stop ball watching and start boxing out and anticipating rebounds

The refs aren't calling many of those chops or slaps are guys are driving - but they aren't calling it both ways so it's not necessarily hurting or favouring any one team.

Pity you suck from the FT line though and went 0-2. :banghead:

Oubre needs to do better at the line

60 seconds to eat a shrimp cocktail?

Losers.

I'd have eaten all 3 bowls in under 30.

**** Hayward half arsed going for the ball that Oubre saved.

Had it been Thing #1 you know he would have come away with the ball - without doubt.

Probably Melo as well.

Edit: Unless those shoulder scratches are the result of him going for that loose ball, and if that's the case: Sorry Gordo.

Looks like he was attacked by a freaking werewolf!!!

For all the hoopla Turner gets around here, yet again he is not a factor at all in this game. -15 in 8 minutes

Considering how clueless he looked and down on him I was, Nicky has proven to be serviceable.

He's not the answer and he's not a starter IMO, but he's proving to be a viable back up 5.
