Harrell is underrated, he's been in the top 30 all season in PER and efficiency

Does our defense still suck? Yes, but its a good move to fix our crumbling offense

I had high hopes for Carey.

Love it. Was wishy washy in the past about Harrell...but he is needed now more than ever, and we're not giving up much at all boys.

I am ok with this. Old back up PG, very iffy Vernon and a 2nd. Sign it. If he looks good here, we may be able to keep him. If not, no big deal.

Yeah, he's an upgrade but doesn't provide what we really need with shot blocking etc, but his attitude is sorely needed.

Minor move for an expiring and see if he can help a position of need, I'm good with it.

Mitch has been after Harrell for a bit. Tried to sign him in FA, tried to trade for him while he was in LA, and now finally got him from WAS.

This guy was the 2019-2020 6th man of the year. Mitch has wanted him for a while...this is a really good pickup, especially because we gave them 2 pieces that should be addition by subtraction essentially (Bouknight should take all of Ish's minutes, Richards/Thor/Kai had all of Vern's minutes anyway). The 2nd round pick is fine. We have enough prospects as it is. He is going to bring a ton of toughness, experience, and a big improvement to the 5, even though he's not the exact type of 5 that will address all of our issues there. He has to be a better defender than Plumlee.

Ish was fun to watch, but that game where Harrell destroyed Charlotte I was hoping we could find a guy like that and we did. Borrego is probably already having him watch Adventures in Babysitting.

Factual. Just realized we have an open spot now...just said this on the fake trade thread, but...Schroder? He just got traded to Houston but it feels like he won't stay there.

High marks. We gave up next to nothing for a guy that could conceivably start for us. At the very least, an immediate infusion of grit.
