Hopefully the rest has done the squad some good, we get Thing #1 and McD back and JB has had a chance to work some plays for Trez into the offence.
Also hope LaMelo and Trez have had the opportunity to practice together and start to build some chemistry on the P&R.

Are we ever going to be told what happened with Martin...? Pretty brutal with him and McD being out for such a crucial stretch of games.

no idea, but always be cautious with Achilles injuries even if they seem minor. I feel like half the serious Achilles injuries that happen in the NBA happen after the player tried to play through a minor one.

The upside to Cody and Jalen being out is JT Thor gets to play...and if he doesn't JB's an idiot.

It would be a huge tease not to give him a little run after he gushed about his effort last game.

how we respond tonight tells me everything.
jb really needs to get better about benching oubre. he is killing on on both ends unless he's hot.

I mean Oubre only played 20 mins last game, are you wanting him getting fewer than that?

last 7 games oubre avg 30mpg, while playing some of the worst ball ive ever witnessed. he's -13.6, compared to -5 for team avg. 40% ts%, wow. he adds absolutely nothing that matters if he's not making 3s. cant defend, doesnt create. 17% on EIGHT 3s a game.
sadly bouk is even worse in his limited pt, but at least he can/should get better.
we shoulda moved kelly at deadline, even with gordo/cody/jalen out.

Whether or not Oubre plays should be dependent on whether or not he is shooting well or not. Which you can find out within his first few shots.
If he's hot? Play him 35mins
If he's cold? Play him 15minus and let Thor/Cody take the rest.

oubre would get 0 mins if i was coach. cant trust him. doesnt defend, doesnt pass, plays with 0 effort. rollercoaster aint worth it.

Yep, my fear as well. Some team desperate for shooting off the bench like the Lakers Celtics or Kings would have given up something for him

We need to start sharing the ball and getting some movement.
Everything just seems to be hit and hope so far on offense.
No real sets or execution at all.

Get Rozier the f off this team yesterday. Just absolutely rolls out the red carpet for KAT.

For the record I am 100% in the fire Borrego camp.
His teams don't play the game the right way. Absolutely no emphasis on defense or getting good shots. He's purely a player developer.

Why is Plumlee playing this much, get Thor in, he probably has a better shot against KAT

Nice battle back from what I was sure was going to be a 38-17 quarter 4 minutes in
