GT: Charlotte Vs Miami - Feb 17th 7:00pm

Post#1 » by BigSlam » Wed Feb 16, 2022 6:14 pm

This team scares me.

We can't out pace them and we can't out bully them. Plus they have impact players at the PG, SG and C positions.

Worst match up for us.

And this is on national TV, so I can't watch it live.

Stupid blackouts.

Both Cody and Caleb Martin are out with Achilles issue? Weird twin synchronicity

Hard to be optimistic about this game, it looks like a beat down.

Where is that easier 2nd half schedule I heard about? :banghead:

My guess is we finish with the Borrego special 38-44 if Hayward misses much more time looking at the rest of our schedule

What teams can catch us in the lottery so we can move up in the draft? Can't believe that's where we are but that's what it is

Edit: Looks like we can possibly get to 10 or 9, Washington probably isn't a help but the others should be trying to get into the play-in

the easier middle of the season is the reason we're still around .500 after our insanely bad last month. It allowed us to build up some separation from the middle of the pack, and if we had continued to play average basketball after that, we'd be in great shape right now. Instead, everyone decided to hit the wall at the same time.

We are right in line to finish just south of .500 and get the 9 seed, just the way the basketball gods intended

MJ's favourite place as a GM/owner. Basketball purgatory.

Would be shocked if we pull this one off...but there is a huuuuuge difference between 30-30 and 29-31...

If a lot of their guys are out we have to come up with this one.

More Thor please!!! Also expecting that Plumlee + Trez lineup again...we shall see what happens.

This is another one of those games where we'll either win by a lot or lose by a lot. Bam is going to get 20/20 either way though.

Bam's gonna feast. But if we keep the intensity up I think we have a shot. Need to get lucky and have them miss a few 3s.

Miles the only one who's got the offense going...still hard not to get annoyed by that absolute snooze job on the backdoor to make it 25-14 Miami...

Funny. I told the wife I would watch the first half until we're down by 20 and then watch the remainder over breakfast mañana.
