I'm not one to pile on Borrego -- it seems like a lot of people aren't big fans of his anymore -- but this loss was completely on him.

Watching us getting absolutely dominated on the boards in the last few minutes of the fourth and OT and staying with the exact same lineup the whole time? And it wasn't like we were shooting the lights out with that lineup either. And then when you finally do add some size, you put in Harrell -- should have done it a LONG time before that point -- and Plumlee in a jump ball situation? Where they are the ones probably doing the jumping in most situations, so they don't really seem to know what to do and even though we win the tip, Plumlee wasn't there to get it and a Detroit player ran it down.

Just some real stupid stuff by Borrego there.

Meh, 36-46 isn’t much better than 35-47 or whatever.

If you hoped for 40+ wins as a Hornets fan, you have two options:

- accept that you will always be disappointed
- go back in time to the ‘90s.

Think I predicted 36-46 like every year, so tonight was a step toward that.

My rooting interest has shifted to simply hoping every game goes to overtime — just to see if the final OT record can be like 0-27

Mind boggling for sure but we had no plan at all for Kelly freaking Olynyk

Like our team was amazed every time he got the ball and and had no idea what to do
I don't support domestic violence. Thanks Miles

We win this game if LaMelo hits just one of the 15 wide open shots he missed, including a few layups

He was epically bad this game, hopefully he's hungry tomorrow

Probably the most infuriating loss of the Season. You could see it in the first five minutes of the game that the team wasn't ready for this game and probably still overconfident from the Toronto game.

Lamelo and Harrell we're particularly awful and useless. If either one of them does anything close to normal this game is a no-brainer. It was really frustrating watching lamelo get outplayed by Cade. But nothing more frustrating than watching Kelly Olynyk wreck us again.

Just not really sure where this team goes from here. We clearly are not a playoff-caliber team as constructed.

The Hornets do not have a closer, and they're out of balance. Some of that will be corrected with time and experience, but it's hard to win consistently when you don't have a player or players who can lock down defensively and get buckets in crunch time.

The Hornets don't know who to turn to in the final moments - they're just guessing on a nightly basis. And that's why Charlotte is O for overtime.

Unless Harrell signs on cheaply as a backup, which I highly doubt, I don’t want him past this year.
