PJ doing to Trae Young what Ben Simmons couldn't - taking it to the rack! Then the "too small" taunt.
*Edit PJ is on ****ing FIRE right now

This is exactly the type of game we desperately needed. Kudos, Hornets.

There's a lot I continue to hate about our defense, but I'll bury that for now and bask in the warm, warm winning glow :)

Great win. Full credit to the coaching staff and players for the defensive schemes on Trae tonight

the fact that PJ has these spurts of excellence is probably what makes it so frustrating when he cruises.
he's got a touch of the Diaw about him

Thankful for the win, and the random PJ assertion event that comes along about every 15 games or so. BTW, how does a guy with his size have so few rebounds?

LaMelo returns to some form…good news there.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

Wild game. Kept waiting for Young to go nuts a s put them up by 20. Thankful that never happened.

I know Plumlee and Trez’s stats look nice - but **** me they were atrocious on defence leaving the paint open and being out of position time and time again which allowed Capella and Okongwu to absolutely kill us.

I feel like we escaped with one here.

And I’ll happily take it.

Was pretty wild that Miles had all 18 of his points in the first half. But that balanced scoring is really nice so that at the end of the game we can work it around and just get the best shot we can. 6 players in double figures with totals of 22-20-18-18-16-12.

PJ's gotta be a bit more aggressive in general. How does he only get 1 rebound? And he can score pretty well...him and Melo in the pick and roll/pick and pop should be more of a thing.

Miles looks like he tweaked something late in that 1st half, I'm just glad he was able to play, even if he was basically invisible on offense.

Yeah it did appear that his knee was bothering him immediately after that drive where IMO he got fouled, but was slow to get up leading to that full court pass Melo made to him after a Hawks miss for that easy dunk, where again you could see him wincing and grabbing at his knee. Hope everything's good.

I immediately got Zeller flashbacks when he tore his meniscus (vs the KD Warriors?), went down for a few seconds, but then got a breakaway dunk on the next play.

But his injury was clearly a lot more serious, I don't remember him playing after that one.

What got into PJ last night? Whatever it was I hope it's here to stay.
