Is this a first ballot thing?

I wouldn't put Tyrus in the top 5, but he's eventually a hall of shamer

when you vote, make a nomination for who is next.

I think Larry Brown should be inducted into his own hall of shame.

Voted yes for reasons listed above. My next nominee I don't think has been mentioned yet, and probably isn't first ballot, but it's Tyson Chandler. Injury plagued. Acted like he didn't want to be here. And then goes on to become DPOY for Dallas the next season I believe. What a joke.

I voted no, mostly because I don't think it was his intent to beat bad asset. I just think he was a legitimately dumb dude who had a ton of natural ability but just could not put things together. Had he had better coaching and a less dysfunctional team then he might have turned out differently.

plus i may be biased because he was a **** beast on 2K

i nominate George Shinn for the next thread

I went with no.

He was a super upside acquisition - which is what a lot of us wanted at the time. He flashed at times, but could never really put it all together on a consistent, or even semi consistent, basis.

I don't think he was a bad guy or anything though, he just didn't pan out like we had hoped.

Funny - forgot how good he was on 2K. If only he was as good in the flesh.

He's definitely up there with the most frustrating unrealized talent in franchise history.

i voted yes, he was an idiot towards the end highlighted with that fight with Silas.

physically fighting your coach is the ultimate knucklehead move.

edit: I researched it to refresh my memory, it was actually Silas who pushed TT as he was pissed at his effort during the game and being buddy/buddy with the celtics.

but stuff him, he still annoyed me. i stand by my vote

nah, isn't his fault that his bb Iq isn't that great. It is our fault for trading for him. I can think of a lot of worse moves over the years.

Also Larry Brown is the best coach we have ever had, and it isn't even close.

I say no, but am probably blinded by the fact as a kid I really liked him.

Maybe I'm wrong but didn't he have like he had a stretch maybe after Gerald Wallace was traded where it actually looked like he had turned a corner?

I voted no for this one. I'm going to be like one of those Baseball HOF voters and preen about how this is an exclusive club that only the most select disappointments/failures in franchise history deserve to enter.

My top 5 nominations for BFHOS at present:
1. George Shinn
2. Ray Woolridge
3. Diaw
4. May
5. Ben Gordon (maybe should be Dunlap? he would be 6)

Funny reminder of when an 8 million dollar a year contract was crippling. Now we pay Batum that much to be a starter for a team that's probably better than us
