Re: BFHOS - LARRY BROWN
the **** worst. set us back 5 years with his antics
- insisted we trade for diop
- insisted we trade for tyrus
- insisted we draft ajinca
- insisted we draft augustin over lopez
- insisted we trade for chandler, then refused to play him, alienated him (he was anchor of mavs defense the following years)
- refused to make obvious adjustments in magic series, got thoroughly outcoached
- trashed the team in post game every loss in 2011 in obvious attempt to get fired
- forced us into massive rebuild because he left us with and old, capped roster, with no young/draft assets, 7 win season to follow
- point guard spin move
- wasted most talented roster we've had since 90s
- he's a cancer

Also completely and unnecessarily blew Augustin up during training to a point that he scolded him like a dog and belittled him to a point that was beyond absurd (or so I was told).
100% a “yes” vote from me.
This guy might have been an ok coach at one point in his career, but he coat tailed on whatever reputation he once had and was an absolute clown with us.
Worse head coaching hire ever. Worse than Vincent, worse then Dunlap - worse than all of them.

Re: BFHOS - LARRY BROWN
I think listing him as responsible for the roster moves, needed rebuild after, lack of assets is maybe a bit unfair, tbh Higgins deserves a Brown Frown far more than LB.
At the end of the day I will vote yes for his cancerous, trash attitude but he was always gonna be a deal with the devil scenario..squeezing all the wins he could out of a given roster in a very short amount of time and leave a biohazard zone in his wake at the end. In that regard he held up his end of the deal.
Sucky situation but he was a better coach than Bobcats era Silas, Bickerstaff, Ham Biscuit, and especially Dunlap imo

Re: BFHOS - LARRY BROWN
brown 100% deserves blame for the roster moves. higgins was a yes man. if you dont give larry what he wants, he has a long history of poisoning the well w/ everyone. you dont hire larry and not give him major input over roster.

Re: BFHOS - LARRY BROWN
For the talent on the roster, the team was SO BORING TO WATCH. Without question the namesake of the hall should be voted in.

I think we can concluded the voting on this one. 92% in favor of inducting Larry Brown.
Next up Sean May, then George Shinn

Re: BFHOS - LARRY BROWN
I really disliked Larry Brown for many if not all of the reasons listed here, but I voted no here because I think the standard should be higher for entry than a coach who leads the team to a (shortlived and disappointing) playoff run.
