GT: Charlotte Vs Denver - March 28th 7:00pm

Post#1 » by BigSlam » Mon Mar 28, 2022 4:05 pm

If we somehow get away with a win here..........look out.

Lid.

Off.

Of course, coming up against our absolute kryptonite in a big who has size, can score inside and out, rebounds well, passes like a boss and blocks shots is not ideal.

I had a dream we signed MKG to replace McDaniels/Oubre and he was a defensive beast that shored up our second unit
is this PTSD?

Not even fishsticks can save us from Jokic

I mean if we can play a game where we allow Jokic to get his regardless, and shut down everyone else we could stand a chance.

I'm not that hopeful after playing our hearts out last night in BK, but we do kinda need this W.

The schedule is rough for the next three games with @NYK, @PHI (early day game) and @MIA....along with a 2nd night of a B2B in Chicago on a Fri night.

I really hope we can hang onto the 8th spot. 7 games to go....break out the popcorn!

I like our chances in this game, the guys have been playing well and the home crowd should help lift their energy on a back-to-back.

Obviously the Nuggets could beat us and Jokic will probably have an incredible performance but if we win this one I will feel very confident we've turned a corner and achieved our destiny as a frisky play-in/play-off opponent.

Pretty remarkable factoid posted on the NBA.com power ranking update:

With their win in Brooklyn on Sunday, the Hornets have the league’s biggest differential between their winning percentage with rest (38-24, .613) and their mark in the second games of back-to-backs (1-12, .077). And that win was the start of their penultimate back-to-back of the season, so they’ll have a rest disadvantage when they host the Nuggets on Monday.

The organization needs to brainstorm some ways to address this.

We match up well with Denver. We need this one. Who the f knows with this team though, its probably a loss with that back-to-back stat

I saw or read somewhere that we have the 2nd best offense in the league since the All Star Break.

Don't know what it was based on, but that's something I guess?

Probably shouldn't have left Gordon on my fantasy bench tonight...

I literally nearly put a guy through a brick wall one time when he tunneled me as I was going up for a dunk.

Lost my damn mind.

Dirtiest play in all of basketball IMO.

Yep. PJ had a guard (forgot who) wiiiide open on the right side of the court but instead he continues to bring it up despite the ball pressure and dribbles it off his foot leading to an easy 2...

And yeah. Cody has a legit case on that one. Nothing short of disgusting that there wasn't a whistle blown on that play.

So sick and tired of Lamelo just being dumb with first quarter fouls every other game
