Re: Draft Lottery Night
For those who remember what they were doing the night the Hornets jumped up from 13th to 3rd to get Baron Davis…..
DO THE SAME THING TONIGHT!
Yeah…I know…I can’t remember myself. Probably listening on the radio. We’ve had some really good success with our most recent picks, but we need another big strike like we got with LaMelo.

I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

Re: Draft Lottery Night
We are playing with house money. We ended the season with a winning record yet have a lottery pick. If we moved up on top of that? Damn I’ll take it. But we win either way in terms of draft capital for 2022.

Lordy, who do you have to blow to land the #1 pick four times since 1992?

Not a big loss, no great talent at the top of this draft
I don't support domestic violence. Thanks Miles

People said that in 2020 when the Wolves got Edwards at #1 and we got Lamelo at #3. Probability says there is likely to be at least 1 game changing talent in the top 3-5 of every draft.

Now we just have to look around for a Marco Belinelli to trade for.

Re: Draft Lottery Night
This is going to be a more than solid draft. Would've been great to get in the top 4

Re: Draft Lottery Night
The Thunder picking in the top 3 is great for us, Duren is more likely to be there at 13.

I love duren as our first pick. I just don't think he will be there. I'm on board with trading up just for him.

The top 3 picks all likely being frontcourt players with the team most likely to draft Duren in OKC moving up decreases the competition. He doesn't seem like a Spurs type big and I don't think the Wizards or Knicks will draft a big considering who they have on their rosters. If he gets past the Blazers I think he'll be on the board at 13.

Re: Draft Lottery Night
Eh, the longer I am a viewer of the NBA, the more I realized that getting lotto luck every year to contend is not needed. Sure we prob should of tank a couple of years, but I would hate to follow a team like OKC or Orlando who is just gonna bank on potential for 10 years and never actually have the balls to start trying to win.
Your Charlotte Hornets! We’ll eventually get something right;right?
