First round talent in the 2nd round. I'll take it.

ESPN projects McGowens at No. 29 overall to the Memphis Grizzlies.

The Athletic projects McGowens to go No. 22 overall to the Grizzlies on a trade with the Utah Jazz.

NBA Draft Room projects McGowens in the second round at No. 39 overall to the Cleveland Cavaliers on a Spurs trade.

The Ringer projects McGowens at No. 22 overall to the Grizzlies.

SI Fan Nation projects McGowens to go No. 21 overall to the Denver Nuggets.

Basketball News projects McGowens to go in the second round at No. 32 overall to the Orlando Magic.

Idk, his stats and scouting report make him seem horrible. Here's hoping he has a chip on his shoulder and plays the right way in the NBA.

Former 5 star recruit that tanked his stock when he played "me-first, offense only" ball at Nebraska

I'd love to ask him why he chose Nebraska. Picked them over several acc schools including neighbor clemson and FSU.

Maybe Bryce and his mates Conner, Sklyar and Tanner can all go boating together this weekend on Tanner’s Dad’s yacht?

Shot it awful, two things going for him are he is tall for a combo guard and he is young.

Not the worst developmental stab in the 2nd round.

I like how we take stabs at former 5 star recruits like Bryce and scottie Lewis who may have not been that great in college. Never know.

Few more notes on McGowens because his scouting report did read like trash.

Finished 9th in Big Ten in Scoring, 1st among Freshman
3rd team All Big Ten, First team all freshman

Averaged 16.8 ppg, Branham averaged 13.3 ppg

Scoring in the Big Ten is tough, McGowens did that on a really really bad Nebraska team. He went to Nebraska because his brother played there, but his older brother got hurt half way through year.

Best attribute? Getting the Free Throw line @6.3 times per game (3rd most in Big Ten). Had two games with 15 more attempts. Also, shot 83% there, which could be an indicator he is a better shooter than all the tough shots he had to take on Nebraska talentless squad.

Long athlete with a dog mentality, gets from end to end quickly, not twitchy but has some wiry strength. Good with either hand and sees the floor well. Probably do well with space at the next level. He'll struggle defensively and will have to become a better (or willing) passer.

I suggest he be renamed BULLDOG.
