That's a good signing. The boy can shoot, and he's no pushover on the defensive end either.

Apropos that the Summer League is being sponsored by 2K23 - Brady Manek has both a create-a-player beard and hair.

I wish Hornets could have played the 76rs in the SL. I really like A. Mohammed profile, and really curious to see what he can do, even in a SL where it's a pain to see organized bball. Could really be a steal as a 2ways (and there is one left available here).

We need a competent summer league PG for once.

One name curiously absent from the current summer league roster- Nick Richards. Big men take, reportedly, three years to physically acclimate to the NBA. Perhaps, considering the Hornets just picked up Richards' option, the franchise believes he's developed enough to not warrant a summer league invitation. Just thought it was notable.

no way anybody watching Richards could come to the conclusion he's developed enough

maybe he's trade bait?

For a team "desperate to save money", picking up the options on Oubre, Plumlee and Richards surely don't make sense unless theres already a trade in the works

I like Richards. He's a huge body that moves well enough and hits free throws.

I think he wasn't included to give kai, and especially Mark as much PT as possible.

Picking up Oubre only makes sense from a trade money matching aspect. An expiring 13 mil contract could prove valuable at some point.

If playing bouk is a priority, and we plan to bring back cody and miles and Hayward is healthy, then oubre is odd man out, which could be a major distraction. Not to mention thor and McDaniels.

Hope he's trade bait to address a real need like backup pg or another center or a wing defender.

I would like to know if Bouk it's still too cool for school, or if he actually shows some intensity

Slick pickup of undrafted Orlando Robinson by the Heat - will be keeping an eye on him in Summer League. My bet is he makes their roster.

Was always pretty unlikely, but can't see him getting moved right now.
