Lol...my guy if we lose by < 15 it's essentially a victory. I shall be watching every possession.

If Cody Martin is out then we simply don't have an answer for Sam Hauser

I frankly don’t think this squad has an answer…period. What will change from the first two atrocities over these last few days? We are weak, weak, weak inside with Plum, Nick. PJ doesn’t rebound. We don’t defend the perimeter. Clifford isn’t pushing pace. Nobody can shoot, although that is bound to improve some. Kai and Bouk don’t look like league level players. I know..it’s only preseason (how many times have we said that over these years?).

I fall back to playing our youth, get them experience, and await a high lottery pick. Jordan and Clifford the dog won’t do that. Too late to trade Hayward/Rozier/Oubre…next likely opportunity is December, or at the trade deadline.

At first I was like "Who the **** is Dominic McGuire?"

And then I was like "Oh, I get it"

Spot on. We lack a paint presence which allows the defense to abandon the paint and disrupt our ball movement and perimeter game. The ball is supposed to touch the paint but if it's Plumlee taking that touch, the defense won't move. You just can't move the defense with Plumlee. His lack of aggression and poor touch just allow the defense to anchor and dig in. Our center situation is hurting the game of every player on both ends.

Finally! A semblance of joy from the Hornets in any way shape or form in months to begin this game lol.

Pissed Jalen McDaniels missed Bouk on the fast break. McD is still very limited as a ball mover.

I am more of a fan of cliff than jb. They both suck at player development but at least Cliff runs plays for players. JB never ran plays for anyone.

Dunno why we got Sneed and Crutcher and not Alexander.

Its concerning that LaMelo is still struggling with points in the paint. Until he hits those he can't take the next step

Despite the lead the team is completely out of sync on offense

Agreed. Until he gets that midrange jumper down and learns to finish in the paint he's just a fringe all star. Needs that badly.

I couldn't be happier with Kelly Oubre. He's the antacid relief for Plumlee acid reflux. He came to play - on both ends. He has talent. He's playing within a system. I'm hopeful.

The one time Plumlee doesn't pass out when he's underneath the basket, he ignores Bouknight wide open for a three. Then misses point blank.
