Oubre to remain a starter. Thought he might go with Cody.

In Austin, TX and going to the game on Wednesday. Remember the rule of thumb guys: If Oubre makes his first shot, we win. If he misses his first shot, we lose.

best guess at rotations and mins
9-man
terry (34) / dsj (14)
oubre (24) / cody (24)
gordon (30) / mcd (12) / cody (6)
pj (34) / mcd (14)
mason (24) / nick (24)
? will cliff use pj as small ball 5?
? 9-man or 10-man, if 10 is it bouk or thor who gets added?
? does cliff give mark mins from start?

two? Is Plumlee so bad that he's gonna be out of the league twice?
Assuming you're talking about Oubre, that's obviously not going to happen. You don't get out of the league a year after knocking down close to 200 threes

I can put up with losing a lot better than I can wives getting beaten half to death or players being unconscious in parking garages with glocks on the passenger seat. The losing I'm use to.

hot take:
Terry (24) /
Kemba (24)Oubre (18) / Terry (12) / Cody (18)
Hayward (30) / McDaniels (12) / Oubre (6)
PJ (30) / Thor (10) / McDaniels (8)
Plumlee (30) / Richards (12) / Mark Williams (6 because Richards gets in foul trouble roughly 100% of the time)

Just kill me.
Hope LaMelo comes back soon. I'd rather watch San Antonio or Utah play 82 games then that.
Why do the **** Panthers and Hornets have to be so unenjoyable to watch. This might be lowest point in the entire Carolina sports era. At least in 2001 when the Panthers were bad, the Hornets were in the playoffs. And when the Hornets moved, the Panthers were in the superbowl
I might just check out on sports and come back in April recharged

Highly doubt it. That sort of thing just historically hasn't been an option he would consider and I think PJ played 100% of his preseason minutes at the 4.

i'm leaning no as well, except some specific end of game matchups. miles left us with a hole at pf when we go small. but i could see us occasionally closing games with
melo - terry - cody - gordon - pj
put your 5 best players on the floor and figure it out

He moved Cody to the 5? What do you mean it hasn't been an option?

Better example... he did sometimes play Marvin at the 5 in certain situations.

No, he failed at moving Cody to the 4 and then had to move him back to his natural position at the 5 that he had played his entire career.

Ok...so what small ball 5 should he have played at the 5 but he refused to?

I don't believe that you think Clifford will play PJ much at the 5 and I don't believe that you really think that there is no past precedent to potentially predict how Clifford will coach, even though youve hinted at similar notions recently, so I think you are just playing dumb to try to attempt to nuance troll every criticism of Clifford.
edit: Sorry if that was a bit aggro

The general concept of having to talk about Clifford again is frustrating.

I have no clue what Cliff will do. I just don't understand where this narrative that has in the past refused to play small ball 5 is coming from.
It's not nuance trolling when you say "doing X hasn't historically been an option for him" to ask what history you're talking about. I actually was thinking there must be a counter example I was forgetting, but I legit couldn't come up with one. The only examples that came to mind for me were Cody and Marv, and in both instances they actually did spend time at C.
