if i'm hornets, there is zero chance i'm letting mason play today.
therefore, cliff will play him 36 mins, because of course

Cliff leaning on Plum for big minutes at trade deadline and him blowing out a knee would be the sweet, sweet cherry on top of the doo-doo cake this season has been.

Its Nicks turn at backup center tonight if Clifford keeps that rotation. We could get a double rain man if Clifford plays Plumlee 30+ minutes day before the deadline and benches Mark Williams on the same night lol.

Please for the love of god, hold the trade candidates out tonight. Give the fans something to watch or hope for. We are 15-40 for **** sake

The playoffs are within reach. We must showcase them so we can trade them all for KD, which makes us a contender.

People assume Plumlee has a black eye, but its goth eye shadow.

Another night, another gameplan to pack the paint any time someone drives, giving up open looks from deep over and over again.

It should have taken the coaching staff about ten minutes to figure out that one of the top priorities this season should be developing chemistry between LaMelo and Mark Williams.

Clifford is a bottom three coach in the league, in conversation for worst.

mason -15
mark +1

cliff played mark his computer mandated 16 minutes, no more, no less. stone age hoops.

we gotta get rid of this dude. such an awful hire by an awful gm. but, that would mean mj is paying two coaches not to coach and i dont see any world where that happens. 100% cliff returns for year 2.

It’s impressive that Mark somehow snags a positive +/- even in blowouts

Yeah, Clifford is real bad. 15-41 and still jamming in vets to squeeze out wins. Can you blame him though. Mitch is brain dead. Fired Borrego becuase he wouldn’t play the young guys as much, and then hired Clifford.

Worst part is he literally played Plumlee for all 12 minutes of the 4th quarter despite him clearly struggling all game against the Wizards front line and the team being down by 15-20 most of the quarter. He even got injured at one point in the 3rd quarter and had to come out of the game for a while and was already playing with a black eye on the eve of the trade deadline... It would have been the perfect excuse to give Mark more minutes and give Richards some burn, but he inexplicably plays Plumlee for 12 straight minutes to end the game and leaves Mark at 17 and Richards 0.

I already have the lowest expectations possible and I'm still baffled by this dude. Its honestly funny since the games don't matter, but yeah, he absolutely has to go. I would be down for them to fire him literally tomorrow and let Ty Corbin or Jay Hernandez finish the season.
