Ha. Love this thread.

Hey - he's shooting 60% from 3 this year - we gotta Curry on our hands - only better.

EDIT: Also shooting 60% from the stripe - likes to keep those numbers clean.

Is Svi the distant cousin of Smee from Captain Hook?

He could be a decent 3pt specialist if we keep him. Cool name too, so he and Wemby will be a good duo.

Thoughts on his first game? I thought he was actually halfway decent. A little bit selfish at times looking for his own offense, but can't really blame him given that he probably has a very limited window to impress the coach. More mobile and athletic than I was expecting. He can clearly shoot. Not the worst player type to have at the end of your bench.

Yeah, he was playing like he was trying to make the highschool team and made some dumb plays in transition, but overall I thought he was okay.

Well he isn't shy to put up shots

Definitely could pick his spots a little better imo, got stuffed a few times attempting shots he shouldn't have tried but overall not a bad debut for someone I had no expectations for and was actually expecting us to cut, thinking he was just filler in the McDaniels trade.

This game accounted for 38% of all his minutes on the season so far, so definitely don't blame him for getting shots up.

He can replace what Oubre does at 1/3rd of the salary.

is a pretty good shooter, at least he was in college and has great form. I mean that is something we lack

For what he is (end of bench guy) seems solid. Like countryboi already said, in theory he's a high% shooter and we desperately need one of those. His pro stats haven't really matched his college percentages though...

Hard to judge him on those limited minutes. Normally I hate guys who force it, but he's still acclimating himself to the team so let's see if that mellow out. He's not going to help our defense but if he can hit open shots it's at least something.

Would rather have him at the end of the bench than Bouk. At least he can bring some shooting if everyone else goes cold. If he'll sign for very cheap I don't mind keeping him.
