If we lose this game we will likely be 2-8 by the time Miles is eligible.
Rozier expected to miss more time after that.
Martin still not practicing.

Very close to saying fire cliff and tank again this year.
Expecting to make the playoffs with the 5th lowest salary in the NBA and not using the MLE and signing Ish Smith and Frank Ntilikina for min deals should have been obvious.

Coaching aside, this game will show us whether the players have any pride left. They have to come with some fire after that last embarrassment, if they don't it's a clear sign they've already packed it in.

Cheap owners, lazy gm
It was clear all summer this franchise didn't actually really have a desire to make the playoffs.

But like, why is Mitch so lazy? The only thing they've ever done fast is fire JB and that seemed like an emotionally charged decision. I didn't mind it at the time since I thought it meant we'd get a better, more experienced coach but then the KA/Clifford circus began. Since then, we've watched them just sit back and do almost nothing at all. No trades, no trade rumors, no MLE's, nothing. And let's not forget how embarrassing Summer League was. How is this acceptable to all of the owners?

I don't think he was lazy, but handcuffed with the ownership changeover. The GameStop guy doesn't give me confidence but he does seem destined to have been involved in this franchise.

Mitch effectively retired 2-3 years ago before MJ begged him to stick around. He's been collecting checks and chugging kombucha ever since

We cannot afford to not have Hayward. He's got to hang on for at least these next 3 games. FFS

I don't wanna think about it. We're one play away from Clifford trotting Thor out as PG

I know we're still 15 minutes from tipoff, but the arena looks depressingly empty. Hard to blame folks, but still sad to see.

At least our court design won't make our eyes bleed like the poor Bulls fans.

Edit: This is in Washington? The teal court threw me off.

Love to battling with Bally sports to get it to work, only to be greeted with hornets down by 10 already as soon as it finally starts working lol.
