Ranking the Hornets by True Shooting Percentage

Leaving out the guys who haven't really played enough to be included.
1. Nick Richards - 0.720
No surprise to find your big guys at the top of the list, but this would be historically good. Currently number 2 in the league. Expect this number to drop a little bit.
2. Mark Williams - 0.675
Also a very solid number. Has about the same number of total points scored as Nick.
3. Nick Smith JR - 0.597
This one likely won't hold up. He has shot it well from deep so far, but 50% from 3pt range is not sustainable and his 2pt shot % is below league average.
$. Kelly Oubre - 0.585
Career best on much lower volume.
4. Terry Rozier - 0.582
Also career best, just went above league average. Everyone below this is about at or below league average.
5. LaMelo - 0.568
Also career best, 2pt% has improved some and getting to the line a little bit more.
6. Miles Bridges - 0.563
A drop off from his last 2 good years. His 2pt % has come down a bit is the main reason.
7. Bryce - 0.551
Best of his career, shooting 37% from 3 is helping him. Another one where I won't be surprised if this goes down a lot.
8. Gordon Hayward - 0.544
His true shooting percentage has dropped each of the last two years but his overall percentages are similar from 2 and 3. Taking more 3 pt shots would likely help him get his overall efficiency up.
9. PJ Washington - 0.527
Having a down year for him mostly due to cold shooting from deep.
10. Brandon Miller - 0.522
He is so low here because he takes a lot of 2pt shots and his 2pt% is not good. As his career progresses he will get to the ft line more and that will help him move up the list.
11. Ish - 0.496
This dude has like 26 different stat lines in 13 seasons. Has he ever started and finished the season with the same team? I feel bad for anybody that had to move 26 times in 13 years. Also this is his 2nd best half season true shooting percentage in his career. How did he play 13 seasons?
$. Denis Smith Jr. - 0.495
He wasn't great for us last year either. At least he plays defense.
12. JT Thor - 0.455
A big with the shooting percentages of a poor shooting guard.
$ Jalen McDaniels - 0.384
Woof! Small sample size and terrible 3pt percentage bringing him down.
