He's expiring I believe so between Hayward leaving and this we should have a ridiculous amount of cap space I think.

I can see Lowry being bought out. I will miss Terry but I will take the first round pick.

Any chance this pick is unprotected? A lot can happen in 3 years.

I always liked Terry but it’s time to build around the young guys.

Pick is lottery protected in 2027 and unprotected in 2028. Hornets plan to trade Lowry though.

Sounds like about the best deal we could have hoped to find.

1st round pick is in 2027 and includes protections according to Woj, he didn't specify what those were. He also claims the Hornets intend to flip Lowry again before the trade deadline if possible.

So best-case we turn Terry into a 2027 protected 1st and a young prospect or 2nd round pick(s).

Happy for Terry, but not a good deal for us. If/when Melo goes down again this season, then we will have to watch 35 minutes of Ish.

Yeah so if we aren't keeping Lowry, who will play PG when LaMelo isn't? We can't possibly be planning to play Ish that much.

That’s a great deal for Miami

Was kind of hoping Hornets would nab a young player coming back.

Sayonara Terry, deserving of greener pastures, best of luck

So we hope Miami falls off a cliff by 2027 and stays down in 2028. Sounds good.

Not sure what team would possibly want Lowry. Might get a second rounder for him.

Fuggin love this trade. Even freed up more cap space and got a future 1st.

This opens up a bigger scoring role for Miller. Now we got some flexibility moving forward.

Great trade I'm ecstatic!

Hope Terry gets a ring on Miami.

I think it is alright trade, probably give it a C. The pick is 3 drafts away and likely will be in the 20s, Lowry is likely bought out so we really didn't add anything to our roster this year.

This gives us roughly 50 million in cap space assuming the rookie we take costs in the 5-8 million dollar range.

Nothing but love for Terry, but also glad to see our FO being proactive.

This trade might bump Bouk's spot in the rotation. Dudes final chance.
