We might end up with the worst record in the league.

Didn't realize the Pistons are only 2 games behind us.

Color me stupid, but I think this group will eventually start producing more wins than we expect. Not a ton, but enough to drop us into mid/late lottery land. Especially if Melo comes back and can stay healthy. Cody’s return has been helpful, but is overshadowed by the other injuries and lack of bench production.

17 wins will be a high water mark

We would have to damn near go .500 to be mid to late lottery. We made some solid trades but we didn't exactly trade for a devin booker or something.

none of the teams from 8-14 have any incentive to tank whatsoever. Toronto will probably try to keep their top 6 protected 1st and Memphis might hardcore tank but we're not making up 9 and 8 games on them, definitely not without Mark. .500 ball the rest of the way only gets us to 18 or 19 wins, which is where Memphis and Toronto are currently. Portland is our only threat if we start playing well.

I think it's far more likely that we wind up dead **** last in the NBA with like 14 wins, while the Pistons and Spurs show signs of life for the future.

I think the trade pieces will make us a noticeably better team just based on the facts that we have NBA level players in the rotation again. Still bottom 3 in the league, but atleast not the historical levels of terrible we've seen the last few weeks.

First double digit win of the year along with our new pieces would be a nice morale boost.
