I know this isn't WHY we suck, but it is kind of something how our schedule worked out. We have mostly played teams on the upswing or getting stars back for the first game. Our luck has been such trash this entire season.

Poole has been much better for Wizards since moving back to the bench. I think he is putting 23 ppg off the bench right now, so we might actually have to worry about him this time around.

Mann has a groin strain.

So now every new player besides Micic has been injured, right?

have a look at the 5-man lineups on nba.com. sort those lineups by total minutes played together. then laugh or cry when you realize how far down you have to go to get to the 5-man lineup from the hornets with the most minutes played.

about #60 on the list is this, with 211 minutes in 8 games.

Every few games Brandon Miller gets in early foul trouble. Gotta clean that up for next year.

Every game Miller gets fouled and the refs swallow their whistle. He was literally hacked twice last game on the same possession and the refs didn't call anything. I think that's when Clifford picked up the tech.

Still not a defense to him having to sit on the bench when we desperately need him. Dude has got to be smarter with these fouls.

Back in the game after staring 0-17 from 3 with knockdown shooters like Bertans and Grant Williams missing wide open looks.

The shine has definitely faded on our trade bump, possibly due to the injury plague, but also think these guys are hitting a wall. Miles with too many minutes, and Miller stretching his rookie year boundary for stamina.

We don't have a single player who can create significant rim pressure without LaMelo. Miles can get there but not quickly. Need a perimeter player who can at least break down the defense and touch the paint. Nick Smith Jr. has to get stronger and use his quickness to create rim pressure.
