Looks like he could have been a lot higher in the draft with those stats and profile but unfortunately didn't grow anymore past high school

I am pretty meh on him, but he at least gives us a decent point guard for summer league and more pg depth probably on a 2way in case Melo gets hurt.

Pretty impressive that he averaged almost 6 rebounds despite being only 6 feet tall.

To me this also confirmed Reed was our top target since we picked an even smaller, but still very good shooting PG. Obviously size isn't an issue.

This could be bad for Nick Smith/Bryce though. Taking Reed would've been one thing, but there's not much of a reason to add another smaller guard in the 2nd round.

He can shoot and create his own shot, this scouting report sounds like Kemba lite

I guess it makes sense to get a handcuff to Salaun who’s going to get him. Good shots and get accustomed to high level passing down in Greensboro.

Hope he works out.

I think this is a good pick. Love the quote from his coach too -
Boyle is sure that he is "NBA ready, mentally and physically," like Derrick White and Spencer Dinwiddie were when they left Colorado.

"He's done a great job with his body, he doesn't party, he doesn't drink, he doesn't smoke," Boyle said. "He acts like a pro, even though he's been in college, and that's very unusual."

We are apparently FINALLY emphasizing getting good character people rather than just talented ones. I think that will help.

I need to look more into him, I was surprised he had 11 dunks this year at just 6 ft tall, 6'4 wingspan. 40.5 inch Vert.
He also had the fastest lane agility score.

Oh my gosh…I love this kid! What a story, and what a competitor. Great character. Will he succeed? Have no idea but I’m pulling for him like crazy. He is a first round talent in a compact car.

This shows again, for better or worse, several of the key ingredients Peterson sought in our picks: COMPETITIVENESS, CHARACTER, DESIRE.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.
