Collecting 2nd round picks like they're going out of style.

So active. Man, thankfully the outgoing regime didn't leave a Cho train wreck.

I think Mitch Kupchak accepted a position knowing it tied one hand behind his back. He spent his 1st 3 years riding out negative contracts to Marvin, MKG, Zeller, and...Nic Batum.

I would like Devonte' to join Kemba in some coaching role. I wonder if Graham is sober to his current career status. Jeopardy.

2.8 million should net us a pretty good 2nd rounder too.

I'd guess it's either the Bulls or Utah pick.

Waive bertans, renounce miles or reroute Reggie

Graham really fell off man. He's going to be overseas pretty soon.

2026 Portland is a good bet. We own 2027 Portland. They're shopping Ayton and Simons and raising a young litter.

He hit his ceiling when he refused to give up weed smoked during pregame warmups.

Crap, looks like we’re just cashing out our cap space for late picks or just because. Waiving Bertans means we’re not using him to balance out any trade. That probably removes any more chatter about us dealing in a S&T for Brandon Ingram.

So this also means the Hornets have a good idea what moves they will be making this weekend.

How many hits would the team get if they had every pick in the 2nd rd of a draft?

Not necessarily. Bertans' contract had max value as a buyout that carved space for Josh Green as we continue to vulture the Dallas front office. Dallas is spending drunk while we sell (and buy) sober.

We have multiple contracts that can be used for matching purposes in an Ingram trade.

Miles + Martin probably gets us pretty close to 36 million. That's spot on for Ingram, regardless where Miles and Martin go, directly to Pelicans, to a third team, or some blend.

Evidenced by the recent Devonte' Graham move, we have established healthy dialogue with the Spurs. They're bidding on Lauri, and own our 2025 first with tight protections.

Something seems brewing on multiple fronts. We have a strong communicator at the helm. So where some may picture deadends, I see open doors and windows.

The level of activity is refreshing. We seem to be talking to everyone and cultivating mutually beneficial transactions that suit the timelines and gameplans of all parties. Helps we have so much cap flexibility and really zero bad contracts.

Say it out loud.

We are an NBA team with ZERO bad contracts.

I'm surprised it wasn't our first back to be honest, why pay 3 million for a 2nd round pick.

Once upon a time Borrego/Triano made him look like a serviceable NBA player.

The 2nd rounder is the Pelicans 2025 pick. So not all that good. Probably around 45th.
