Mark is out. Green is questionable. And evidently Jeffries has a broken hand.

I had a dream the opposition scored 40 points before Charlotte scored at all. I then started ranting saying they should trade everybody away

Are they playing injury games with us again? We all knew Josh Green was injured. We all saw him blow a tire on that layup in preseason never to be seen again. But then they tried to tell us that they were just resting him because he had a busy summer playing in the Olympics. Why not just tell us he had an Achilles injury? I just don't understand the inconsistent messaging when it comes to injuries. It's really not hard. We're not asking for Insider information here just a little bit of consistency and transparency.

And if Jeffries has a broken hand, why is he on the roster? This is as dumb as keeping French Frank on the roster last year when he was injured.

Josh Green is only questionable. I think he will be in the game.

Mark is still the missing piece.

Even 1 week of Nick Richards just makes my blood boil.

Our first 10 games are brutal. Would be elated starting 5-5 or even 4-6

At least we know not to extend Mark Williams and waste money. Too bad, had high hopes for the guy.

There’s no way Mark makes it to 20 games played this year, right? I’m pretty doubtful he’s going to play more than 2 at the most and I’ve come to terms with the distinct possibility he’s never playing another game here.

70 games of 33 Nick Richards minutes! Yay?

I'm kind of bummed out.

StreamsEast has been my go to for Hornets games and for whatever reason the service has been terrible as of late.

I'm just hoping the issue is fixed sooner than later. I'm not trying to pay for NBA League Pass.

LOLOLOL.. holy crap people act like him missing the first week of the season is the end of the world.

Can we romanticize it anymore? It is one freaking game

If green is out tonight, what's everyone's best guess for the 5th starter

Cody only played 8 minutes in the preseason. If he's ready to go I would assume he's the natural sub for Josh green in the lineup. I think they would like to keep mann in that sixth man role.
I wouldn't be surprised to see Curry get to start Cody's not ready for big minutes. Other option would be going big and starting Grant shifting everyone down a position. Salaun would be the shock the world starter.

I'm more curious about their coach than any player this season.

Jeff's first draft, had Clingan fall right into his lap. The circumstances couldn't have been a better match. BPA, clear skillset with elite shot blocking / rebounding (something we lacked) and adding to a C room that has the mostly injured Mark Williams (who we still don't truly know how good he can be even if he is healthy one day) and Nick Richards who still doesn't know how to set a screen.

If Saloon doesn't pop into a star, this will be Jeff's "Monk over Spida" or "DJ Augustine over Brook Lopez" moment.

I thought we had bad memories with falling knives?
