I would be surprised if Melo doesn’t suit up for this one. One bad twist and his brother is probably done, can’t take these matchups for granted going forward

that's a very dumb reason to rush back from a calf injury early

We play 2 games in the next 9 days, I would expect the 19th of December is still the target return date for Melo and Miles.

We rush guys back from injury for way dumber reasons than sharing a rare moment with family, like, all the time.

Also, it wouldn’t even be early. He’s right at the 2 week evaluation. Could play 20 easy minutes and have a bunch more time off coming up

Whether I think it’s a good idea, idk, but just saying I’d be surprised. They do have another matchup relatively soon

Salaun says he's back, and Miles says he feels fine and the training staff is just playing it safe.

Can you quote the information about Salaun? It's hidden behind a paywall. Would appreciate it.

Salaün, following a two-game absence, proclaimed himself ready to go.
“I’m back,” he told The Observer.

That’s the whole thing lol

The injury report should be released at some point today right?

Bridges, Salaun, Mark and Nick all playing in the same game would actually give us real size.

I don't even remember what that feels like.

Salaun is the one I worry about coming back early. He seems the type to hide pain and discomfort just so he can play.

As much as I hate the Hospital Hornets, I'm more than OK with Salaun taking a few more days off.

Im honestly not concerned with him being out. Yeah he can score in a hurry but his defense and utterly lack of finishing at the rim is abysmal. To put it lightly. I'd let him fully heal up.

yeah i get that, but wouldn't you want him playing to try and improve or be a trade asset or something??
