I think half our games have been against them.

Another 9-54 night from 3 with 20something turnovers and we may need to have a conversation about players quitting on the coach.

this is the type of game LolCatz would win. Just as expectations hit a real low, they would win a meaningless one to raise your spirits a bit.

We lost 3 games to the Sixers without Embiid. One of them had no Maxey. I didn't expect this season to be this miserable tbh.

Ok we’re actually just tanking
**** it, play Salaun 40 mpg. If he carries us to Flagg or Harper he would be the retroactive 2024 ROTY for all eternity even if he finishes with negative PER

Well hell. Lol

Not very optimistic about this one with that injury list. Yikes.
Due for a surprise good performance by one of the guys though.

Flagg’s headed to Chicago. Hope this fifth overall pick is worth another tankjob (it absolutely will not be).

This season will turn me off from the NBA permanently.

It started getting that way for me last season. Wemby is what keeps me tuned in. At some point, I feel I'm gonna break away, though. The on court product of not just this team but 75% of the league, even some winning teams, is gross. The 3 pt chucking is the worst basketball I've ever seen, and every team has a few guys who just pull up and let it rip for no good reason at all. There are very few highlight dunks, layups, and crossovers, and the mid range game is dead. It's 3 pointers or nothing most of the time, and I'm sick of it.Robot Rock wrote:This season will turn me off from the NBA permanently.

For the longest time, I'd tune into the marquee games as well as these games (back when Charlotte had a team -- this abomination doesn't count). Now, every game is like the 2010s All-Star Games: run up and down the court alternating 30-foot 3s, one goes in every couple possessions, nobody plays defense, and the fans go home completely whelmed. The NBA All-Star Game, much like the Hornets' ownership, has improbably gotten worse.

My entire rooting interest from here on out is for the league to take away draft picks as punishment for tanking. Lose your next two seasons' worth of picks. Then this team's injury report would magically get a lot smaller, every night...

In the spring I went to a small Christian college game near my house. I live in PA the college is Geneva college very small college in a small town in the rust belt. That game was more entertaining then most games I've seen recently in the NBA. It sad. I also went to a semi high profile high school game in erie PA the watch delquan Warren 2 years ago. Just better basketball all around.Robot Rock wrote:GiggitySmalls wrote:It started getting that way for me last season. Wemby is what keeps me tuned in. Crazy. I've been going to more college games this year, too. I'm not enthused about the way NIL turned into free agency, but I get it. Programs are making 7-8 figures off these players (who actually play most of the games!), so they need to get their money.
