There's a slight chance this game gets canceled or delayed because of the wildfires in LA

On an unrelated note, my **** accidentally deleted the sun's game thread. I went to unsticky and hit delete instead. Never done that before. you other mods know if there's a way to get the thread back or is it gone gone

so this game may well get rescheduled due to the wildfires in LA. a hockey game in the same arena was postponed tonight

i'll be shocked if this game is played tomorrow.

Friend from LA Film School on Sunset (about 5 miles or so from Crypto) sent me a phone vid last night of fires burning in the nearby hills so, yeah, not good.

Our next game is scheduled to be LAC, so we might have two games off and not be playing until Sunday against PHX again.

sad what is happening. but just our luck to finally have a game postponed now that we are all healthy.

But when are these games going to be made up? We don’t have a logical west coast trip the rest of the year…

Well it’ll be pretty dumb to not also postpone the LAC game. Idk why they haven’t done it yet considering the NFL already moved theirs and that’s two days later.

Maybe they’ll have us play the LA games at the end of the season. Won’t matter anyway since we’ll have nothing to play for. We can let NSJ and Salaun cook.

can't see that happening as both LA teams are likely to be in the play-ins. i think they shuffle around a couple games like they did during COVID and/or have us play one of those games as the all-star break ends... as we're going to be in the West for a big road trip from 2/20 to 2/27 already. Possible that we just play either the Lakers or Clippers on the 19th and then the other game gets crammed into the rest of our schedule? i'm sure there are people that get paid big bucks to figure that out.

I’m sure it’s a huge pain in the ass to figure this out given how many other games it could impact. I wonder if they end up swapping any around to fit these in.
