a fun little lineup wrinkle that we may see more of over the next few weeks would be moose and nurkic On the floor together. nurk with at least the threat to shoot threes and pass from the top of the key might be enough to pull defenses out allowing him to share the floor offensively with moose. Not ideal but a better fit than moose sharing the floor with Mark or Nick.

Was thinking this as well - will at least be nice to see the combo give it a go. Will be at the game tonight - not sure why, but I'll be there.

I feel like every time you've gone to see the Hornets there in Orlando they get stomped. or am I misremembering? hopefully you get a competitive game tonight. I can tell you right now I think KJ is going to have a lot of trouble against the length of that defense.

For sure. This was my last outing: https://www.espn.com/nba/game/_/gameId/401703372/hornets-magic

Start to finish embarrassing.

A lot of tricky matchups for us - Suggs and Black are defensive terrors + a bunch of 6'10ish dudes who do a bit of everything (Banchero, Wagner, Isaac, Da Silva)

hoping that Nurk is better than we think. after the trade, a reporter asked him about his relationship with his former coach. He said they didn't have a relationship.

Maybe a new environment will give him a fresh start

It’s a small thing but I’m still appalled they didn’t put a pair of goggles on Moose. He shouldn’t be questionable for this game

I do think his skill set is something that we have needed. We have needed a center that can bang and be physical and clean the glass for quite a while. It's no surprise that we get eaten alive when we play centers like him. Been happening for many years. And we haven't had a center who could pass and shoot threes since Spencer Hawes. Not saying we should aspire to Spencer Hawes, but it's certainly a skill set that we haven't had. My biggest worry is that if Mark comes back I hope moose isn't sentenced to be the third string center again. It would be criminal if Lee did not find a way to keep moose on the floor for a minimum of 20 minutes. Pairing him with nurk could be the answer to playing all three of them.

Early three, rough debut for Baugh since then so far, but surprised he's out there at all.

Geez, Miles takes 11 shots in Q1, makes 3. Hornets need assistance on aisle 2.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

Collins told a wild tale about Nurkic's start in hoops. His dad is a 7 foot, 400lb cop from Bosnia and one day a (Serbian?)scout read that he beat up a dozen guys at once (classic), so he went to pay him a visit to see if he had children and was introduced to a 14 year old Jusuf.
